It is abundantly clear that we are facing unprecedented existential threats potentially affecting all inhabitants of Earth. Climate change, depletion of nonrenewable natural resources, loss of biodiversity, pollution, water scarcity, and plastic waste are only some of the critical environmental crises we must confront.
With the rising awareness of the fashion industry’s impact on the planet, Shinkong has accelerated its development of eco-responsible products. We work with recycled and upcycled materials, including agricultural and industrial waste. We create products from all-natural fibers and biodegradable synthetics while exploring bio-based and renewable sources. We have also developed a designed-to-be-recycled standard for circular fashion that tackles garment waste, one of the biggest environmental problems in the fashion industry.
