新光紡織成立於 1955 年，為台灣紡織產業開創者，五十年來秉持著務實的精神、求新求變的態度，提供廣大消費者高品質紡織品，並於 1977 年公開上市發行。

本公司劃分為紡織及品牌兩大事業部，紡織事業部專營先染長纖布生產銷售，本產品除具備流行感外，更兼具各種附加功能，適合任何型態戶外活動使用。品牌事業部專營世界名牌服飾代理銷售，目前代理英國皇室御用品牌 Pringle of Scotland 、美國高爾夫名牌 PGA TOUR、以及富青春活力的法國品牌 DDP，以及義大利時尚名錶 Grimoldi，透過各大百貨及專賣店專櫃銷售，滿足各客層需求。

Founded in 1955, Shinkong Textile Co., Ltd. is one of the early pioneers in Taiwan's textile industry. For more than five decades, we have been dedicated to innovation and upgrading our services to consumers. The Company was publicly listed on the Taiwan Stock Exchange (TAIEX) in 1977.

Shinkong Textile consists of two major divisions: Textile and Brand Names. The former specializes in the production and distribution of woven fabrics made of dyed filament. Its products are stylish, functional and especially well suited for outdoor purposes. The Brand Names Division, on the other hand, serves as the exclusive agent for a number of world-renowned brands, including Pringle of Scotland, PGA TOUR of the U.S., and France brand DDP. The division distributes these products through concessions at department stores and boutiques.
